Each of us eats differently and faces different challenges. I prefer the term “eating habit” rather than “diet” for a variety of reasons. One reason is diets are something people do for a fixed period of time, then resume what they did before. This often leads to yo-yoing and all sorts of mental/emotional troubles. Instead if we refer to the way we eat as our “eating habit,” we get a much more realistic view of it. If we on occasion eat things outside of our habit, they’re just that, not a reason to scrap the whole plan.
There’s not one ideal set of eating habits that works for everyone, and sometimes we have to try new styles/habits on for size before knowing if they can work for us. At Up & Up we’ll take an experimental approach: try and see what changes. Together, we’ll take a realistic look at what you’re eating and help you reach your next highest level of health. Whether that means adding in nutritionally dense foods, supplementing specific nutrients, or replacing those tempting junk foods, we’ll uniquely tailor a plan you can agree to.
An initial consultation is required before treatments to obtain your medical history and determine which therapies are best suited for you.
